Order handling

Your personal information and data are required for handling your orders and for our business relations.
Order-related data processing is carried out on a contractual basis during the period covering our business relations then, once archived, on a legal basis for proof, warranty and litigation purposes.

Service customization

Your personal information and data allow us to improve and customize the services we offer you as well as the information we transmit to you. This information processing which allows us to customize our services is based on legitimate interest or on expression of consent. Order tracking emails and stock alerts

You are informed that following your order you will receive information messages which enable you to track your order (order confirmation, parcel delivery information). These service messages are essential for ensuring orders and services which you have requested operate correctly. We also provide you with email alerts to inform you of the availability of a product which interests you. These alerts ensure you are kept up-to-date on the future availability of the product which interests you. You may sign up for alerts by clicking the button “Sign up” under the sentence “I’d like to receive a stock Alert as soon as the product becomes available”.

Newsletter

If you sign up for our Newsletter, you’ll receive Ki ET LA information, news and offers by e-communication. These newsletters keep you up-to-date on Ki ET LA’s latest news as well as on advantages which you may benefit from on our products. We measure the opening rate for our electronic mailings so that we can tailor them to suit your needs best. If you do not wish to receive Ki ET LA offers and information, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any of the emails you receive.

We collect and process specifically your name, address, email address, phone number, age, IP address, logon data and browsing data, order histories, products viewed, delivery incidents, claims. You are informed by a field asterisk if data is compulsory or optional when you fill it in. Some data is collected automatically through your actions on the site.

We also measure audience, for example we measure the number of pages viewed, the number of visits to the site, as well as visitor activity on our site and visitor return rate. We collect information you provide us with specifically when:

• you create your customer account on our site and you place an order
• you browse through our sites and view our ads
• you participate in competitions
• you contact our Customer Service

You have the right to withdraw your consent to us processing your personal data at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing already carried out based on consent given before the withdrawal. You can assert this right by emailing koukou@kietla.fr.

In accordance with the legal requirements imposed by French law and the GDPR regulation, Ki ET LA will only retain your personal data for as long as is reasonably necessary to achieve the purposes for which it is processed as described above.

Personal data may be transmitted to Ki ET LA employees or associates who, in operating under the direct authority of Ki ET LA, are appointed Data Controllers or Processors and will be given appropriate operational instructions. Personal data may also be shared with Data Controller employees or associates if the former – appointed by Ki ET LA – so decide, and provided that the data is processed in accordance with the purposes pursued.
Ki ET LA ensures that sub-contractors, employees and associates guarantee the same level of protection as it does itself and ensures that these sub-contractors, employees and associates process personal data only for the purposes pursued, with the discretion and security required.

Personal data provided directly by you filling in online forms may be shared and processed by external service providers acting in the name and on behalf of Ki ET LA.

Data is unlikely to be transferred to a country outside the European Union.

Ki ET LA guarantees that your personal data will be processed in a fair and lawful manner.

In accordance with the GDPR regulation, you have the following rights:

• the right to access your personal data in line with Article 15 of the GDPR regulation;
• the right to correct and delete your personal data. In accordance with Article 16 of the GDPR regulation, incorrect or inexact data may be corrected or deleted at any time. You are responsible for making changes required via your User account. If you find you cannot make the changes yourself, you must contact Ki ET LA and ask that the latter makes the changes for you;
• the right to have your personal data deleted in the situations listed in Article 17 of the GDPR regulation;
• the right to limit the processing of your data in the situations listed in Article 18 of the GDPR regulation;
• the right to data portability. In accordance with Article 20 of the GDPR regulation, you have the right to be provided with the personal data about you held by Ki ET LA in a structured format commonly used and readable by machine;
• the right to object to data processing. You have the right to object to your personal data being processed at any time, where there are compelling and legitimate grounds for this in your particular situation. In these circumstances, Ki ET LA will no longer process your personal data, unless there are compelling and legitimate grounds for doing so that prevail over your interests and rights, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
• the right to make a complaint. You have the right to complain about the processing of your personal data by contacting the French Data Protection Authority CNIL: the competent body in the field for France.
